Dry Needling
Dry needling is a treatment technique used to help resolve soft tissue dysfunction. This unique procedure is designed to treat and restore muscle and tissue function individually. It is essential to correct these problems because continued activity with reduced muscle function can cause further damage and increase pain.
Dry needling uses a fine needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate trigger points in the underlying connective and muscle tissue. Trigger points are tight bands of skeletal muscles, or “knots,” located within a larger muscle group and may be sensitive to touch. Dry needling can reduce muscle tension and spasms, decrease inflammation, reduce tissue adhesions, and speed the patient's return to active rehabilitation.

Gastrointestinal disorders such as stomach pain, vomiting or diarrhea. Additionally, respiratory symptoms related to congestion, cough and asthma.
Cupping can be combined with acupuncture needles in certain treatments where muscle tension is severe. Cupping is used first to decrease tension and then acupuncture needles are used to further enhance the healing process. Other useful methods include cupping to remove toxins stored in the muscles and fatty tissue of our body.
